Tips for selecting expansion joint

The expansion joint adopts a rectangular cross-section and rounded corrugated shape . A single expansion joint in the pipeline can withstand displacement in two dimensions. The elbow-jointed pipeline composed of two expansion joints can withstand displacement in three dimensions. The rectangular rounded metal corrugated expansion joint has full height and half height types. Users can choose multiple corrugated joints according to the flue size and stress and strain requirements.
1. After the user has selected a suitable expansion joint according to the thermal displacement of the pipe system, he or she must at least provide the circulating medium in the pipe, the design pressure of the smoke and air duct, the upper temperature limit during operation, the external dimensions of the smoke and air duct cross section, the selected waveform and wave number, so as to carry out the structural design and manufacture of the expansion joint.
2. The upper limit of the allowable expansion of each wave: full-height type △α=±24mm half-height type △α=±12mm.
3. Dust-blocking plate: It is not necessary to use it for air ducts or pipes with little dust, but it should be used for dusty flues.
4. In order to reduce the number of corrugated nodes, cold drawing by 50% should be considered.
5. The expansion joint is suitable for the occasions where the cross-sectional area is less than 4.6 square meters and one side of the smoke and air duct is less than 1.5m but greater than 0.6mm. The standard full-height corrugated compensator is suitable for all smoke and air ducts.
